XML/RTB overview
Optional real-time bidding for advertisers who prefer an endpoint over (or in addition to) manual line items.
Direction: xmlcpc sends BidRequest XML to your registered HTTPS URL.
Your server returns BidResponse (bid) or NoBid within 150ms (
tmaxMs).
Money on the wire is integer cents ($0.25 = amountCents="25").
Who should use RTB?
Use XML/RTB when you already run a bidder or want per-opportunity decisions. Otherwise start with line items on Campaigns — same $0.25 floor, simpler setup.
What you need
- An advertiser account (Sign in)
- Funded balance via Top up
- An HTTPS endpoint that speaks BidRequest / BidResponse
- Sub-150ms responses under load
